It will emphasize proximity to a variety of retail, dining, shopping, and recreational amenities, as it is located at the heart of Cebu's Central Business District.

The prime location of the building will be complemented by its design and architecture, which will take advantage of open spaces and landscaped views. It will only have 109 units on 24 floors; each of the well-planned two- and three-bedroom units will feature premium finishes and workmanship.

Paying tribute to the design concept envisioned by the development, 1016 Residences recently hosted an event that celebrates the city's inherent creativity.

Among the guests were prominent Cebuanos Butch Carungay, the brains behind Avatar Accessories Inc.; Cary Santiago, the creative force behind Dubai and Beirut's couture houses; Kimsoy Yap, whose art blends western influences with a distinctly Filipino character; international award-winning artist Romulo Galicano; and Joanna Maitland-Smith Lhuiller, whose creations have defined high Cebuano style.

"As they are renowned global talents, we felt it was a good way to honor their accomplishments and dovetail the launch of this signature project by recognizing their contributions to the global fashion and art scene," said Bobby Dy, head of Ayala Land's Residential Business Group.
