To develop its vision of luxurious living in Cebu, ALP tapped a mix of foreign and local designers to come up with a design that is contemporary yet uniquely Filipino. The exterior of the building has been described as "straightforward," yet it has been designed so that, when viewed at an angle, you see four separate buildings and not a "box" look. This unique design assures residents that each unit is a corner unit, blessed with copious natural lighting and ventilation. Part of the Filipino design is the inclusion of a maid's room in each unit, as well as access to cross ventilation throughout all units. The units on the 22nd and 24th floors have their own private roof deck areas. Units range from 192 to 220 square meters. There are only three units available.
There are three Horizon Suites that feature expansive living, dining and private spaces. These three-bedroom residences, with an area of 196 square meters, are perched above the Cebu cityscape.
For the ultimate home, the Skyline Suite is equipped with a roof deck and its own private pool. Only one unit is available, and it has already been sold. It has a floor area of 229 square meters, while the roof deck pool area measures 109 square meters.
Thomas F. Mirasol, Ayala Land Premier Marketing and Sales head describes Cebuanos to be very value-conscious.
"They will see, though we charge a higher price, that they do get a very much better product," explains Mirasol. "It is our first foray into Cebu, and we are making ourselves understood by a very special class of people."
All units have usage rights to the City Sports Club Cebu, which is just across 1016 Residences. This members-only sports and leisure club is currently scheduled for a multi-million peso three-year renovation program to provide its members with up-to-date fitness and wellness facilities, flexible function spaces and exceptional dining outlets.
