A race through nature, for nature
AYALA Land Premier’s residential leisure development, Anvaya Cove, and its signature "mountains meet the sea" topography became the setting for more than a hundred triathletes at the recently concluded 4th Anvaya Cove Invitational Triathlon.
Located in Morong, Bataan, Anvaya Cove offers more than just a serene sanctuary away from the city. It also gives families and friends a wide variety of options to bond and pursue passions and interests. The development's verdant forests and exciting nature trails and ziplines allow the young and young-at-heart to explore and experience Anvaya Cove's rich and colorful environs, while a well-equipped fitness trail and obstacle course gives the more adventurous various ways to stay fit in the midst of nature.
Water lovers will enjoy the Water Sports Pavillion and the diverse list of activities offered at Anvaya Cove. From kayaking to beach Frisbee, volleyball, and snorkeling-there's something for everyone, no matter what fitness level or age. Events such as this Invitational Triathlon and the upcoming "Anvaya Cove Goes Retro" New Year's party also ensure excitement, thrills, and fun for members and their guests all year ‘round.
The 4th Anvaya Cove Invitational Triathlon wasn't just about allowing participants to experience firsthand the beauty of Anvaya Cove. Open to members, their guests, as well as entries from sponsors and the Triathlon Association of the Philippines (TRAP), the event was also about giving back to nature and to other athletes. Besides highlighting Anvaya Cove's commitment to preserving the environment, the event was also the launch pad for TriGiving, a global project of the International Triathlon Union. Participants were encouraged to donate old but usable items, such as jerseys, bikes and athletic gear, for the benefit of aspiring athletes, coaches and technical officials based in the surrounding Barangays.
"We are proud that the yearly increase of the participants, including local and Asian triathletes, has made Anvaya Cove one of the most organized and definitely the most entertaining triathlon events," says Mr. George Cadhit, general manager of the Anvaya Cove Beach & Nature Club. "The trademark of Anvaya Cove is the challenging hilly ride route for bikes, and everyone is rewarded with a spectacular view of the forest and of blue waters of South China Sea.
Triathletes, adventure seekers, water babies, nature buffs-whatever your recreation or leisure preferences, Anvaya Cove provides the ideal setting and environment, as well as ideal amenities and facilities to fulfill the passions, interests and pursuits of its residents.
