One Serendra

BIRDS chirping, lush green trees, sweet scents of flowers and children running or even "baby" dogs happily playing around the garden.

From a distance the tall buildings and busy bustling of traffic and city life abound.

It's a typical day at Ayala Land's One Serendra at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City where everyone gets to enjoy a quiet and peaceful day at home reminiscent of the simpler and more relaxing lives that we usually enjoy in the provinces, yet it is so close and about a stone's throw away to the busy urban jungle.

"It's suburban living," Jericho Barcelon, Project Manager of One Serendra, said in describing the BGC lifestyle which he said reflects the theme of One Serendra West and East towers which is due for turnover and occupation of the new family owners starting June this year.

"(One Serendra) offers the convenience of being in the middle of the city, but you still have that immediate escape. When you get to the Serendra, you forget your in the city and your actually in a very suburban living," he said.

Located in the middle of the BGC hub, One Serendra is just a walking distance to the different commercial and business establishments in the district like The Spa, Fullybooked, Figaro, Hobbes & Landes, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, R.O.X. (Recreational Outdoor Exchange), MOs Design Gallery, and CAV Wine Shop and Café, among others.

The West Tower, which recently started putting up the building's spa garden boasts of 372 units, spread in 150 floors.

It compliments the East Tower which will start turning over the units to its new owners in June and September this year and January 2013. The units of the West Tower, which started its sale in 2010, is due for turnover and occupation of the new owners by July and October 2015 and January 2016.

Trina Aguas, Sales and Marketing Officer of One Serendra said unlike other condominium units, theirs is designed more for family living than simply just being an investment.

She said those who bought the units prefer to live in it than just lease them out to other people. She added that unlike other condominiums, 65 percent of Serendra had been allotted to open spaces, lots of greens and even a reflecting pond to enable their residents to "enjoy the space and escape from being at the center of the city."

Barcelon said it was deliberate to a lot so much space for planned parks and gardens citing that the five-hectare residential development which also includes a low-to mid-rise putting green, and a yoga/Pilates area with a view of the reflecting pond, a spa, swimming pools, a kiddie maze, and a gym.

"BGC is starting to thrive to be another Makati. You're getting all the elements of city living...but there is a difference ...In BGC it's more relax, you're close to everything but everything seems to, its a less (hurried) phase, it jives very much with Serendra," he added.
